About the program

As a school, we firmly believe in investing in the lifelong learning of our teachers and staff and constantly encourage them to improve their skills and competences further, for the provision of high-quality teaching. It’s one of our priorities to seek opportunities and possibilities for growth to improve the quality of their teaching. For this reason, we have set the following goals for this Erasmus+ program that will run from 1st September 2023- 28th February 2025:

  1. Modernisation and upgrade of the teaching methods. Applying modern and alternative teaching methods, especially through the widespread use of technological means, will make the learning process more flexible and interesting for children of all learning levels. We also aim in further development of key competences and skills of the school staff in order to prepare them to respond to the contemporary educational challenges of the future (longterm goal) and to be able to subsequently act themselves as key persons in the transfer of knowledge internally, i.e. with other educators within their school and/or region.
  2. Integration of innovative teaching and learning methods with ecological transition. Undoubtably, sustainability is a protagonist in discussions the last few years as its vital to our survival and future. Topics about ecology and sustainability will be investigated though the duration of the project in the form of conferences, school actions, lesson plans etc.
  3. Cooperation and communication of teachers and pupils with their peers from other Eu countries to achieve exchange of expertise and good practices, transfer of knowledge and learning of new languages.  We aim in the cultivation of a European dimension that will characterise the school as a whole, through the transfer of knowledge and best practices.
