A team of 6 students (3 boys and 3 girls ages 14-15 years old) travelled to Portugal to participate in the second students’ mobility in Lieria, Portugal, where they met with peers from our school’s partner countries Spain, Italy and the hosting country Portugal. The students were accompanied by Mrs Nicoletta Vassiliou (Greek studies teacher) and Mrs Marilena Adamidou(Health education teacher).
The mobility took place on 13-17 May and it was a week filled with a great variety of activities including interactive workshops, visits to museums, discussions and exchange of good practices through which they had the chance to learn valuable information about the environment. In addition, participants had the opportunity to get to know the hosting school, town and country through a variety of cultural activities.
All participants presented their countries, traditions and cultures and also presented a song, dance or theatrical performance to promote active citizenship.
It was an invaluable experience for all!
