In the week 9-13th October 2023, 9 teachers from Italy, Spain and Portugal participated in the first ‘Job Shadowing” mobility in Cyprus. Participating teachers exchanged ideas, organized the following mobilities and interacted among them.
During their visit, teachers had the opportunity to participate in workshops, tours and attend different seminars. These included:
- a workshop by actress and theatrologist Nasia Kelepeshi about the use of theatre in teaching
- an introduction of Cyprus culture and traditions and their integration in teaching (workshops and tour in Lefkara and Nisou villages)
- participation in interactive activities and seminar at the Pedagogical Institute of Cyprus with the title: “Citizens science monitoring butterflies and for the protection of biodiversity” by Dr. Constantinos Phanis,
- guided visit at Thalassa Museum in Ayia Napa with the title “How to teach in the Museum”
- attendance and active participation in demonstration classes by Louis Kazafaniotis (“Mathematics teaching methods”) and Ifigenia Panagidou (“ICT in the Classroom” )
